Laura Raveggi

I was born in Florence (Italy), 11/24/1982.

Probable but not confirmed hobbit origin, I am a short, naive, curly girl who loves drawing, cats, soap bubbles and pizza. And don't forget beer.

I never smoked a cigarette, but since I was a child I am affected by a serious dependance for printed paper smell - in particular for paperback editions, cause they perfume of lived life and memories.

Well, after a quite normal childhood and languages studies at school, at 18 I decided (for my parents disappointmen) I wanted to be an illustrator, animator and “make cartoons”.

So I started studing all over again, from animation back to illustration and never stopped drawing 'till now. What I like the most when I create an image is to change my point of view or turn perspective of everything. I believe that nonsense it' s really useful to make any sense out your everyday life.

After several years of study and stage, now I am a freelance illustrator and animator.

In the meanwhile I grabbed a degree in Communication Sciences, learned to cook amazing almond cookies and raised up a livestock farming of dragons and turtles.
